Combining street photography, visual essays, short stories and poems, the book explores heritage, religion, changing cities, disappearing traditions, social realities and ordinary lives. With Forewords by Ximena Echague and Michael Steverson, it invites readers to look beyond individual photographs and reflect on the people, places and moments that shape our times.
About Aniruddha: Aniruddha Guha Sarkar is a New Delhi–based photographer, engineer and IT consultant. His photographic journey began through street photography and gradually evolved towards documentary photography and visual storytelling. His work explores people, heritage, religion, changing cities, social realities and disappearing traditions. His photographs have been exhibited internationally and published in national and international print and online media. My Times, My Place represents his ongoing exploration of India through visual essays, photography, short stories and poetry.
